My New Roommate Loves Eating Cockroaches

My roommate loves eating cockroaches.

She says cockroaches have lived for tens of thousands of years, and eating them can prolong your life and even help you ascend to immortality.

I warned her, “Cockroaches carry serious pathogens. Be careful, or you could develop all sorts of complications.”

My roommate promptly put a spoonful of cockroach eggs in my bowl.

“Zhenzhen, you don’t understand. Once you try them, you’ll see. Cockroaches can prolong your life and bring more children, more blessings.”

I threw up on the spot.

But my roommate said I had offended the Cockroach Immortal.

Then she posted about me on the campus forum, saying I didn’t know how to appreciate someone’s kindness.

I was cyberbullied until I jumped off a building.

When I woke up again, I looked at the cockroach eggs in my bowl and slammed my roommate with a hard blow.

“Eat, eat, eat. I’ll make sure you get your fill this time around.”
