In the turbulent era of the late Ming Dynasty, Li Xi, a modern high school history teacher, accidentally traveled through time. Facing the imminent collapse of the Ming Dynasty, he determined to use the knowledge he had learned to rewrite history. Allied with local power leader Zhou Jing, they established a joint defense alliance in an attempt to use guerrilla tactics to resist internal and external troubles and preserve the Ming Dynasty.
