Synopsis

[Dual male leads · straightforward, slow-witted sunshine bottom × seemingly aloof, sly, gloomy, jealous top]

[Bottom only wants to be best friends × Top: Who wants to be your best friend?]

One day, a System suddenly popped into Chi Yu’s head. It told him: [Host must become the male lead’s good friend, change the original story’s ending, and save the male lead.]

To complete the mission, Chi Yu did everything he could to get close to the male lead, sticking to him all day long until he finally became his good friend.

But then things started to get weird

“Aren’t we good friends?”

Every time, the male lead would look at him pitifully and ask a question that went straight to his heart.

Chi Yu’s heart softened, and he agreed to whatever the male lead asked of him.

But later, the male lead actually said, “I like you.”

What is this supposed to mean!? Aren’t we good friends? Hey!

System (guilty) (head bowed) (whistling): Don’t blame me. I can’t control what the male lead wants to do!!!

Straightforward, slow-witted sunshine bottom: Chi Yu only wants to be good friends with the male lead and finish the mission quickly, but ends up completely wrapped around his finger.

Seemingly aloof, sly, gloomy, jealous top: Cool on the outside, but fiercely possessive within. He’s jealous enough to make a hobby of it, carefully plotting until he draws Chi Yu into his territory.

In a nutshell:

Chi Yu: I only want to be good friends with you!

Gu Yuan: Who said I wanted to be good friends with you?

Looking for BL with No Side Couples, Just the Main Pair

I'm a hardcore protagonist fan and can't stand secondary couples. Some authors write the main couple badly, yet still want to add a secondary couple. I came for the main couple's characterization, only to find the author writing a secondary couple with the kind of characters they're good at. It hurts.

Cultivation Novels With Two Male Leads

I'd like books similar to "After the Immortal Venerable Was Rejected in Public, He Became the Emperor's Consort". Two male leads, cultivation, both strong, and no quick transmigration. Please, everyone, almost every cultivation story these days is quick transmigration, and I'm so tired of it.
