[Wood and Shadow]

It has a sense of story and reality. It uses "my" perspective and experience to outline the story. The switching of scenes is very life-like. The characters are all described with flesh and blood, and they are all full of personality and thinking.

This book, from my personal point of view, is definitely a literary work. I saw something the author said at the beginning. At first I just thought that passage was very beautiful. But after I read some chapters, I suddenly thought of a word [immediate effect], so in this book, I have a new understanding of this word. The pole is [wood], and the shadow of the pole is [shadow]. The wood standing there will never change. What changes is only the light and the shadow that changes with it. The change of the angle of the sunlight will cause the length of the shadow to change. When I was reading "The Birds", I saw Tagore writing this: What you are you do not see, what you see is your shadow. You cannot see yourself, all you see is your own shadow. When I saw this sentence, the first thing I thought of was the [shadow] in this book. I think the wood and the shadow are more like the two personalities of a person. One is a lonely wandering poet in the noisy world, seeking an independent spiritual world of his own; the other is unable to break free from the shackles of this world, sinking in the world's filth, but there is still a light in his heart that has not been extinguished. Just like most people in life, he compromises with reality and life, but occasionally resists. We cannot walk on two roads at the same time, so no matter how many times we start over, we will have many regrets, because life cannot exhaust all choices, just like wood and shadow, respectively recording two completely different life trajectories, obviously so close but so far away, like that sad word in mathematics, infinitely close and never intersecting. Please try to be as happy as possible in a life that cannot be relived. Maybe it doesn't matter what is at the end of the road.
