Sweetheart, I'm Waiting Here. Reply When You See This

On her way home from a blind date, she ran into him as he flexed his two massive pectorals, as if showing off the highest honor and insignia. Disgust surged through her. She stepped right up to him, eyes blazing, and glared. “You creep!”

A son of China should be a stalwart man, ready to defend his country. How could anyone have imagined he’d be treated with such contempt and humiliation? Hmph. Just you wait. I’ll teach you a lesson.

“Ye Ziliu, you dropped something.”

That glare nearly killed him on the spot! She’d have to spend the rest of her life making it up to him.

That’s right, almost the rest of her life.

Good thing she didn’t hit him hard enough to kill him. Where else could he find another sweet darling like her?

He once said that if she soared into the sky, he’d fly with her to the ninth heaven; if she descended underground, he’d gladly sink into the abyss with her.

But in the end, what he said most often was this:

“If you dare run off with someone else, even if you escape to the ninth heaven, I swear I’ll become the wind and drag you down from the sky.”

“See? I always know how to handle you. Tell me, are you going to behave? Will you listen to me?”

His words were full of smug affection, as if she were a precious treasure clutched in his hands, with no way to escape.
