This is a side-story novel about the Seven Great Sages of Flower-Fruit Mountain, set in a parallel universe to the original Journey to the West. It focuses on the Seven Great Sages and fills in what happened to the five sages other than Sun Wukong and the Bull Demon King, whose fates were never told in the original.
