The 2.6th Dimension

Partly inspired by CLANNAD

A realist named Sizhai has no desire to become the protagonist of a light novel, but after a fateful encounter, he and a girl from the world of anime save each other.

Thus begins a complicated tale of youth. Beneath a bouquet of indigo flowers, every character has feelings of their own.

[Laid-back daily life + “losing heroines” + a little comedy] [The protagonist has no golden finger; the heroine comes from the world of anime] [The pacing is slow at first, so proceed with caution if that's not your thing or you're just here for a laugh]

(I've been heavily influenced by anime scripts and print literature, so my writing style may not follow the web-novel trend.)

Pure love is the best! (shouts)

A sample of my writing (?):

This is the story of him and them.

There is sourness and sweetness, joy and sorrow.

This is also a story about “fate.”

He is a genius who pursues an “ordinary” life, an unfortunate child.

She is a girl from the world of anime, searching for the light orbs.

She came with her own “memories,” but couldn't bring “her” back.

Abstract:

A multitude of flowers yearning for salvation are bound to run into walls.

The road to happiness is bound to be overgrown with thorns.

Life always brings both laughter and tears.

So he chooses to walk far away, toward a distant place. As long as he keeps going, the road will keep stretching ahead.

Then where does the road end?

Perhaps in a future where the light orbs become flowers, at the heart of those blooming buds.

Or perhaps on that ordinary night, at the beginning of a beautiful encounter.

But does it really matter where the road ends?

It doesn't.

Wherever she is, even standing still can be the end of the road.

Standing before the shrine, he tells the little town below the mountain about his life:

“May you reunite with the person most important to you, whether in the future, the present, or the past.”
