[Lighthearted + Logical + Sweet Romance + Strong Heroine and Hero + Ensemble Cast]
When Qin Huai was young, she followed her parents on a visit to relatives. Unfortunately, bandits attacked along the way, and she fell alone off a cliff. There she met a handsome, aloof young man, but he refused to save her. The black dog at his side was just as “arrogant with its master’s backing,” so after Qin Huai was rescued, she was left “deeply in debt.” At long last, she reunited with her family, only to have her fate put in the hands of an androgynous assassin when she went out in the middle of the night. They fell together into a huge pit in the mountains, and thus their connection began. But their good fortune did not last. On the day of her cousin’s wedding, her paternal aunt’s entire family was arrested and their estate confiscated overnight. The one who carried out the order was none other than that cold, stern young man...
To save her aunt’s family, she is pursued by men in black on the way home and has no choice but to fake a funeral with a living person in the coffin, using the trick of escaping by feigning death. During her flight, she learns that her maternal grandfather is none other than the King of Diannan, who rules the entire region!
Through countless twists and turns and dizzying highs and lows, Li Huai turns the tide with her own hands.
Who will be her ultimate match, the proud, aloof young man or the beautiful, androgynous assassin?
The writing is very good, and it is rare to see such detailed writing about scenery and other aspects. It feels like there are a lot of foreshadowings buried, and I hope to see surprises later.
