Ziwei met Xiao Yanzi on the way to find her relatives and became sisters. Due to some strange combination of circumstances, Xiao Yanzi was named "Huanzhugege". With the help of Erkang and others, Ziwei and Qianlong recognized each other. After experiencing various events including the witchcraft trouble, escape from prison, revenge for killing their father, and trip to Myanmar, Xiaoyanzi and Yongqi, Ziwei and Erkang, Qing'er and Xiaojian finally got married. Several young characters created in the novel have a strong sense of subjectivity and brave pursuit of themselves, which to a certain extent reflects the development of popular culture.
