The Fallen King Is Doted on by the Enemy Emperor

A meek, defeated emperor VS an obsessive emperor of an enemy nation. After Ning Pu's dynasty falls, he is taken to the enemy kingdom's capital. But Huan Ning, the foreign emperor, brings him into the imperial bedchamber, setting court rumors ablaze. Ning Pu asks to leave the palace and establish his own residence, but his request is cruelly denied. “I should have known. From the very first day you came to Cheng'en Hall, you knew how to use your tears to make me give in. Your dependence, your tears, they're all tools to get what you want. Ning Pu has no idea what he means, but to ensure his clan can live in peace, he can only do his best to accommodate Huan Ning's ever-changing moods. “Your Majesty... I will follow your orders and stay quietly in the palace.” Jianrong was founded through military might. Huan Ning carries out his late father's wishes and expands the realm. The two stand side by side atop the city wall to receive envoys who come to surrender. The autumn wind rustles. Ning Pu glances at Huan Ning, looking so vigorous and spirited. “If he can bring the whole realm under one rule, perhaps that would be a blessing for the people...”
