The backstory of the League of Legends universe: On the night the Void descended upon Runeterra, delivery driver Ye Zang was swallowed by a car accident. When he opened his eyes, he had become one of Zaun's lowest-ranking humans in the world of League of Legends.
When he tremblingly put on that mask streaked with dark red veins, an ancient curse and forbidden power awakened at once. The Darkin's, Aatrox's, whispers exploded inside his skull. His left eye became a hell that devoured life, while his right eye blazed with the brilliant golden light of the Ascended.
On this continent ravaged by the Void, he is both a fallen mask hunted by countless people and the only savior in prophecy who can restart Runeterra.
As Noxus's iron cavalry tramples Ionia's sacred trees and the dead of the Shadow Isles tear open their seals, Ye Zang must choose: let the Darkin's madness consume his soul and become a world-ending calamity, or cut out his cursed flesh and use the radiance of the Ascended to reforge the collapsing star river.
Listen, the mask is whispering in his ear again:
"Kill thousands and become a demon; save all living beings and become a god... Do you dare to take the gamble?"
I don't understand. Isn't it in the Twin Cities? Why does the screen switch to Shurima? The protagonist is now taken over by Ya Fei
When will I get my mask back?
