After School Starts, My Daughter Tells Me to Divorce My Wife

Xia Dong loved his wife deeply and doted on his daughter. He had poured his heart and soul into their family.

For more than a decade, he worked hard to keep the family going and raised his daughter with great difficulty, sending her off to college. Now, full of hope, he planned to discuss having another child with his wife. Both of them were forty. A university professor and department director at a hospital, he longed for a son to carry on his legacy.

But he never imagined that his daughter, who had only just started college, would bluntly declare that his wife was no good and insist that he divorce her.

It struck Xia Dong like a bolt from the blue, plunging him into endless shock and pain. He couldn't understand why, in his daughter's eyes, the woman who had shared more than a decade of his life had become so awful.

At that moment, his heart seemed torn in two: one side filled with love for his wife and reluctance to let her go, the other facing his daughter's unyielding stance. Caught between them, he didn't know what to do.
