Xu Jinhuan's family unexpectedly transmigrates to ancient times.
Looking at their impoverished home and four children, all pale and scrawny, Qiao Limei wants nothing more than to jump into a well and start over.
But her husband clings to her waist while one of their children grabs her arm, refusing to let her jump no matter what.
Just as she gives up and accepts reality, she learns that the original couple weren't only responsible for feeding four children. They also had to support their biased parents, fund their 37-year-old eldest brother's imperial examinations, and provide for their lazy younger brother's family.
She can't take it. She really can't!
Qiao Limei is ready to jump into the well again.
But the moment she takes a step, a System for getting rich drops out of the sky.
With the System's help, the family's savings soon pass one thousand taels.
However, in December of that same year, a rare blizzard quietly arrives, forcing the family to stock up and flee famine...
