Kicked Off the Chinese National Table Tennis Team, I Joined South Korea's Men's Team Instead

In 1999, the talented young Ma Qifeng made the national first team. But after clashing with the rules and running into trouble over his personal conduct, he was sent back to the provincial team. Disheartened and unsure what to do with his future, he decided to play abroad, become a naturalized citizen, change his name, and join South Korea's men's table tennis team! He was determined to make the leaders and coaching staff of China's national team pay for their decision.

This time, he would join Joo Se Hyuk, Oh Sang Eun, and Ryu Seung Min to build a golden age for South Korean men's table tennis.

He would also make a run at the Grand Slam, leaving his mark in an era when great players filled the table tennis world!

And he would give the soccer- and baseball-loving people of South Korea a shock: a table tennis oppa!
