What if Li Chengyin were reborn with his memories intact?
“The waters of the River of Oblivion can make you forget love.”
“A fox, sitting on a sand dune...”
“Gu Xiaowu, I forgive you.”
A rush of icy water filled Li Chengyin’s nostrils. His aged body was enveloped in freezing water, and in an instant he passed out. The waters of the River of Oblivion were still so cold... he thought. Half asleep, he saw that fifteen-year-old girl again, dressed in red and riding proudly beneath the open sky.
On the bank of the River of Oblivion, Pei Zhao stood alone, his back hunched with age. Helplessly, he held Li Chengyin’s cold, lifeless body and sank heavily into the emerald-green water.
The waters of the River of Oblivion were truly so cold.
The writing is very good. I have never dared to read Donggong for a second time. I only dared to watch its clips on the short videos of major apps. Maybe I was very mature when I watched it. I understood Li Chengyin's forbearing love. It was inevitable that he, Pei Zhao, and Gu Jian would fall in love with Xiaofeng because they were burdened with too much in their hearts. Li Chengyin was dark, how could this happen? How could Pei Zhao not fall in love with the free and blazing Xiao Feng if he didn't fall in love with Xiao Feng, who looked like a little sun? Pei Zhao was bound by the so-called rules and the fate of marrying a princess. How could Gu Jian not fall in love with the free and fearless Xiao Feng, who was oppressed by the so-called hatred? Because Xiao Feng is really every girl's ideal in the world. She is so good and kind to everyone. Everyone in the East Palace is a tragedy, Xiao Feng is, Li Chengyin is, Zhao Sese is being used by the one he loves, Pei Zhao, Gu Jian, Milo, Mingyue, Grandma, Chai Mu (Chen Zheng), several princes, queens, Xu Niang, Gao Guifei... They Everyone is a tragedy, including the emperor. After watching the whole drama, I hate him the most, because everyone's tragedies are caused by him. He really does not deserve the love of a beautiful and beautiful child like the eldest prince, nor does he deserve the love of a pure and pure girl like Mingyue. Mu, I like Xiaofeng's courage to love and hate, I like Aweng, Heshi, Adu, and everything on the grassland, except for their attitude towards prisoners. After all, I am also from the Central Plains. I also appreciate Yongning's pride and straightforwardness, Luo Xi's Gentle and kind, Milo's charming and enthusiastic, I appreciate Sesu's talent, but also pity her ill-fated, she should not hurt Xiaofeng, Xiaofeng is sincere to her, if she could do it again, she would probably not want to hurt Xiaofeng. What impressed me the most was when Li Chengyin accompanied Xiaofeng to dance in the Wangchuan River, he said, "I will accompany you to forget." What he said to Pei Zhao from now on is that I will not treat her with respect as a guest. I want to have a deep and lasting love with her. Li Chengyin was so high-spirited when he said this, and how sure he was that he and Xiaofeng would fall in love with each other. But from Xiaofeng's point of view, Li Chengyin loves Zhao Sesu. Xiaofeng must be so sad because of how many times Zhao Sesu wronged her. Even though Li Chengyin would take her shopping to coax her after deliberately hurting Xiaofeng, he would never say anything. How could he let Xiaofeng understand his feelings? The girl was originally in love. She has a sensitive mind. She doesn't understand his forbearance when carrying hatred. He is afraid that she will become someone's weakness for him, so he acts like he doesn't care about her. He understands her fear of leaving her hometown and will comfort her. He also understands her desire to be free. He deliberately revealed how to leave the palace and ordered Pei Zhao to protect her. But he didn't understand her affection for A'Du. She didn't understand how sad she felt every time he defended Zhao Sesu, but when she thought about their ages, Xiao Feng was fifteen and Li Chengyin was eighteen when they first met, Xiao Feng was eighteen and Li Chengyin was twenty-one when they parted ways. How young they were. They were both lovers for the first time. How could they be perfect? It would be great to do it again. I hope they can all be happy.
It looks good, although it feels a little lacking in some places, but it does not affect the result. I thought Sese would become darker, but it is really good. She and Xiaofeng have become good sisters, and everyone has a good ending. The author is very attentive.
Li Chengyin returned from rebirth and vowed never to hurt Xiaofeng in his life. Put aside the power and calculations, make up for the mistakes with your heart, and just hope that you can protect Afeng well and prevent the tragedy from happening again.
This version is great, but the TV series is still too confusing
Yeah, that's right, it's probably pretty good-looking.
I like it very much, very beautiful. 😁😁
The setting is really beautiful
Very good, the author fulfilled the sad dream of the girl in the East Palace
It's so well written that it makes up for Donggong's regrets.
