Reborn, She's a Master Flirt

Devoted, loyal puppy-dog hero + emotionally slow-to-warm heroine + both reborn + a sweet story of winning her husband back; both are each other's first and only

In her previous life, Xia Zhi was framed and forced to marry He Yuzhou. He treated her wonderfully after they married, but she remained cold and distant toward him.

He didn't mind, showering her with affection year after year despite her indifference. Then, just as she was finally beginning to fall for him, disaster struck.

He died saving her, still believing to his dying breath that she had conspired with someone else to kill him.

“Xia Zhi, don't let me meet you again in the next life. If I do, I won't let you off the hook.”

Her heart felt as though it were being torn apart. Only when they were facing a final goodbye did she realize that she had already fallen in love with him.

Given another chance, the man was reborn too, but wanted nothing more to do with her.

She pouted, played for sympathy, and tried everything to win him over. Clearheaded yet helplessly falling for her, he indulged her in every way, always pretending to be hard-hearted even as he quietly took care of everything for her.

He still treated her well, but wouldn't return her love.

She grew anxious and insecure, afraid he had already grown tired of her.

At last, after someone else finally talked sense into her, she decided to give up and set him free.

But he wouldn't have it. “Did I say you could let me go? If we're going to be tangled up, then let's stay tangled up for good!”

Later, after Xia Zhi and He Yuzhou had gotten back together, she happened to uncover many things from their previous life that she had never known. It turned out that, where she couldn't see him, he had always been quietly doing everything he could for her.

Thankfully, this time, when she turned back, he was still there.
