Unable to endure his adoptive father's coercion and abuse any longer, Shen Chuyuan ran away from home at midnight with the only treasure he had left. He ended up homeless in some corner of the city.
By a twist of fate, someone tricked him into working as a waiter at a nightclub. In a private room, he met Mr. Fu, the man he would love for the rest of his life, the man he would never forget after seeing him just once.
But Mr. Fu not only called him a murderer, he treated him terribly, constantly brought people home, and even nearly gave him away to someone else.
Shen forgave him again and again, only to be met with Fu's dissatisfaction and abuse. At that moment, it seemed that he, his Mr. Fu, no longer wanted him. Suddenly, he felt...
Then, one day, he finally learned the truth. That little fellow had long since taken root in his heart, impossible to pull out.
1. A groveling-ex-to-win-back-his-wife story.
2. Fu Qingyun × Shen Chuyuan. No love rival: the male lead was blind and mistook him for someone else.
3. Happy ending, with a little angst to spice things up. The recipient has a rather tragic background.
