He transmigrates as Patriarch Bodhi. Sensing that Wukong has fallen victim to Lingshan’s schemes, he storms Lingshan to demand justice for his beloved disciple. To bring Wukong back to life completely, he embarks on a journey west to destroy Buddhism and spread the Way. Three thousand Demon Gods stand in his path, hoping to seize Wukong’s true spirit, but Patriarch Bodhi slays or subdues them one by one. He splits off three corpses: the good corpse, Wutian, is wreathed in Buddhist radiance, with profound, unfathomable Buddhist knowledge and unrivaled power in both Buddhism and the Way.
Patriarch Bodhi secretly sends Wutian a message, ordering him to infiltrate Buddhism and wait for the right moment.
The second is the evil corpse, Sword God Li Chungang. Sword energy swirls around Li Chungang, his sword intent soars to the heavens, and his mastery of the sword reaches its pinnacle. Patriarch Bodhi sends him to travel the Myriad Worlds, spreading the Way and teaching its methods.
The third is the free and unfettered corpse, Kong Zhongni. An aura of righteous Confucian virtue surrounds him; benevolent and kindhearted, he has attained a transcendent mastery of Confucianism. Patriarch Bodhi orders him to preach among humankind and promote the righteous Way.
Bodhi: “How dare you bully my beloved disciple! Even with wounds from the Great Dao tribulation, I can hold Mount Fangcun in one hand and remain invincible throughout the heavens!”
...After enduring eighty-one tribulations, he leads Wukong to Lingshan and reclaims all of his true spirit. The Great Sage returns.
The three corpses unite, and he survives the Great Dao tribulation of the Great Dao Realm before facing Hongjun in a decisive battle...
Come on, come on...
