The Unorthodox Path of the Weird

[No immortal cultivation, authentic Taoist magic, genuine paranormal encounters, an incredibly powerful grandpa]

The day I was born, my mother turned into a corpse, and divine lightning fell from the heavens. She was reduced to ashes by the thunderbolt as she shielded me. Second Grandpa said I was a yin child born into the world, and that I had incurred Heaven's wrath and wouldn't live past the age of six. Yet I safely made it through the deadly trial of my sixth year. Only later did I learn that Second Grandpa had used a secret method to extend my life. But that life-extending technique had long since turned me into something other than human...

A vengeful ghost? Is it scarier than the one inside me?

Black magic? Is it stranger than my spells?

From then on, when ghosts saw me, all they could do was run.
