After the college entrance exams, Chen Yinuo returns to his hometown, planning to spend more time with his parents. A few days later, he gets a mysterious phone call saying someone has invited him to the Nanshi Grand Hotel. Curious to find out who sent the invitation, Chen Yinuo tells his parents and decides to go. When he arrives at the agreed meeting place, he discovers that the mysterious person is none other than Lin Jia, the beautiful girl who sat beside him in high school.
“Chen Yinuo, I like you.” Faced with Lin Jia’s heartfelt confession, Chen Yinuo is afraid of hurting her and can’t bring himself to reject her outright, so he suggests they date for a while first.
As time passes, Chen Yinuo is gradually moved by Lin Jia’s sincerity. With the holidays nearing their end, he secretly prepares a confession ceremony for her. “Lin Jia, I’m so lucky we got to spend this summer together. In the future, I hope I can spend every summer with you…”
