I read through a large number of works on the subject of immortality, but could never find one that suited my liking, so I began to think of creating my own. Next, let's talk about the appearance of the protagonist in my mind. The protagonist I want to create is the kind of person who acts decisively and clearly distinguishes love and hate. If others offer a kind helping hand, he will be grateful in return. However, he has a strong balance in his heart and acts in a measured manner, so that he will not become an unprincipled "good guy". For him, immortality is only a means to achieve his goal, and it is by no means a reason for his laziness, depression and inaction. It is common to see scenes in Jangsei-ryu novels where the protagonist threatens to wait until his enemy dies before going to his grave to show off his power. This kind of behavior is really hard to agree with. If the protagonist in my novel does not take revenge immediately, it is definitely not out of cowardice, but because his strength temporarily does not allow it. He will definitely work hard and practice diligently, instead of comforting himself with words like "waiting for the enemy's death and having fun at his grave" like the protagonists in those novels. This kind of behavior is no different from Ah Q's spiritual victory method. It is essentially a manifestation of greed for life and fear of death. Shouldn't we practice hard and slay our enemies with our own hands to feel more joyful? Admittedly, this is still just the outline of the protagonist in my mind, and it is not easy to perfectly present it on paper. But I will still go all out and try to make this character come alive on the page. Come on! ! ! [Working on the manuscript][Working on the manuscript][Working on the manuscript][Learned]
