Great An Cleans Up the Alkali Fields

Da’an City lies in northwestern Jilin Province and is one of the world’s three major regions of soda saline-alkali land. The Tan family is a well-known real estate powerhouse in Da’an. With the property industry in decline in recent years, they are considering investing in a new field. The Tan family’s daughter, Tan Yurong, graduated from an agricultural science and technology college. The team she worked with achieved a major breakthrough in a project to improve saline-alkali land. Tan Yurong wants her brother, the Tan family’s adopted son, to invest in improving Da’an’s saline-alkali land and increase the nation’s grain harvest, but he strongly opposes the idea. In frustration, Tan Yurong sighs, “I wish I were my brother!” To her surprise, her wish comes true: she and her brother switch souls. Tan Yurong becomes her successful older brother, while he becomes his newly graduated younger sister, leading to a series of farcical mishaps. Later, an unexpected incident finally convinces her brother to invest in the land-improvement project. Together, the siblings lead their team through one challenge after another, ultimately transforming barren Da’an into a sea of lush green rice fields.
