I Exposed My Cousin for Pretending to Be the Daughter of a Minister

I am Ji Qingge, the only legitimate daughter of the current Minister of War. Yet my mother despises me, treats her niece Wei Ruxue as her own daughter, and lets her pass herself off as me. At a grand gathering of noblewomen, Wei Ruxue took the seat reserved for the Minister's daughter before I could. Loud enough for everyone to hear, she said to me, "Cousin, if Mother hadn't wanted me to show you the world, you wouldn't be here." "Remember, even though you don't have the Ji surname, everything you say and do reflects on the Minister's household." In the past, I would have been reduced to tears and lost for what to do. But I had been reborn. I gave Wei Ruxue a cold smile and kicked her half a meter away. "You're nothing but a lowborn nobody, yet you're throwing your weight around over one little banquet." "And as for the Minister's household? Just wait. You won't even know what killed you!"
