Jiang Qiuling and her husband have a daughter whom they adore. They cherish her so much they fear she might melt in their mouths or fall if they hold her too tightly.
Her husband, however, doesn't seem to care much about her. He's always by another mother and son, and to outsiders, they look like a family of three.
When Jiang Qiuling and her daughter need him, he's nowhere to be found. He brushes them off and neglects them at every turn. In the end, his actions cause their daughter to lose her life.
