Everyone says marrying my wife is a blessing I must have earned over several lifetimes.
But my wife, a cold, goddess-like woman with a cleanliness obsession,
drinks from the same cup of coffee as another man.
I feel nothing.
Numbly, I ask for a divorce.
My wife looks at the divorce papers and sneers.
“Are you a child? You're asking for a divorce over something this trivial?”
Only when she finally realizes I'm serious
does she throw the divorce papers in my face.
“Just you wait. One day, you'll be on your knees begging me to take you back!”
Someone does beg to get back together.
But it's not me.
