Twenty years ago, he took a two-year-old child from a drug dealer. The child had been quiet and dazed, but broke into giggles the moment he was placed in his arms. Twenty years later, they met again at a crime scene. He was a police officer; the child had become a night wanderer in the gray areas of society. Their story begins there.
A family of six is struck by a string of murders. Were they accidents or killings?
A woman pursuing love also dies for it. Was the killer her lover or her rival?
She was a celebrated prodigy, yet she was brutally murdered. What secrets lay behind her death?
Each case is a standalone story.
It's good to read. I've read another book by the author before, and then I read a lot of other people's books about criminal investigation with two male protagonists. I couldn't stand most of them. After dozens of chapters, I couldn't solve a single case. If the two male protagonists didn't solve the case, they would have an ambiguous love affair [rolls my eyes], but this author's book is to my taste!
Please update more, the author's suspense novel is very interesting, the logic is clear and the story is clear, five-star recommendation!
