Shanhai Island of Death

[Strong female lead, devoted romance, online love story, horror, alternate world, thriller]

[Mysterious female lead vs. clever, easygoing male lead]

[Be careful with online romance]

Some of the tales in the Classic of Mountains and Seas are deeply moving, but are the monsters in them really good or evil? Are you sure those stories are true?

A mysterious woman awoke at the heart of an island. She held dominion over it, and it lay in the middle of the world’s oceans, surrounded by an endless expanse of deep sea. Adventurers spotted animals and plants resembling those in the Classic of Mountains and Seas and named it Shanhai Island. Foreign explorers called it Death Island.

The island had once been harmless, but after the woman awoke, it became a place from which no one returned. They called it Shanhai Death Island.

There were fruits that could prolong life, flowers that kept you forever young, animal blood that could strengthen your genes, and an island heart no one could reach.

Though no one ever came back alive, capitalists and scientists around the world were obsessed with it. Who wouldn’t want to live forever? Who wouldn’t want extraordinary abilities?

The temptation was too great. Setting foot on the island was practically the same as being dead.

Until one day, a college freshman working part-time as a food delivery driver accepted an order to Shanhai Death Island...

[The female lead is a little unhinged and can’t do without the male lead. The author is pretty chuuni, so the writing is too. I think it’s a sweet romance!]
