Reborn in 1990: I Stir Up a Storm in the Stock Market

Bank clerk Li Yi envies people who make money trading stocks, and resolutely enters the market. He raises capital by mortgaging his home, borrowing from friends and relatives, and even secretly diverting customers’ funds. After making over four million, he is still unsatisfied and keeps investing more until he goes bankrupt, loses his job, has the bank repossess his home, and is left with debts he cannot repay. He jumps to his death, only to be reborn as a rural schoolteacher in the 1990s, where he experiences all kinds of strange events at the village school. Meanwhile, he falls in love with his classmate and fellow teacher, Tang Xiaoling. Relying on his memories, Li Yi travels to Shanghai and buys shares in a wildly soaring stock, hoping to improve life for himself and his girlfriend. But she tragically drowns while drawing water from a well. Grief-stricken, he quits his job and heads to Shanghai to trade stocks and go into business. Thanks to his memories of his previous life, he picks one soaring stock after another, amasses a fortune, and becomes known as a stock-market god. He also uses his foresight to choose booming industries and build his own business, eventually becoming a tycoon and winning the hearts of countless beautiful women. Yet he falls in love with his devoted disciple, Qian Hongfeng, and they become a couple, reaching the pinnacle of life.
