Synopsis

Qi Jiguang arrives from the heavens, inheriting the post of Assistant Commander of the Dengzhou Guard at just sixteen. Japanese pirates raid towns along the southeastern coast of the Ming Empire, plundering property and slaughtering soldiers and civilians.

Qi Jiguang forms the Qi Army, invents the Mandarin Duck Formation, and improves swords and firearms. Across more than a hundred battles against the pirates, he achieves extraordinarily lopsided casualty ratios, repeatedly annihilating large forces of pirates without losing a single soldier.

Qi Jiguang, the Ming Empire’s God of War, renowned anti-pirate general, and national hero, fought the enemy and defended his country’s dignity. His spirit will forever deserve the respect, emulation, and admiration of future generations!
