Yongqi returns to the time when Xiaoyanzi first entered the palace, and starts a new life there with her. He'll take care of his own wife himself. The emperor grows even fonder of Xiaoyanzi, and Ziwei and Xiaoyanzi reclaim their places without a hitch. Ertai never goes to Mongolia, and Xiaojian and Qing'er never go to Dali. The Ten Perfects stay in the capital, and Yongyan ascends the throne.
Xiaoyanzi: This Fifth Prince is so strange. He acts so kindly toward me, even though we didn't know each other before.
Yongqi: Xiaoyanzi, you're my one and only swallow. No one can ever come between us.
