Bad Women Rule: Get Rich, Get Gorgeous, and Play Men

[1980s + devoted couple + face-slapping comeuppance + marriage before love + she pursues him at first + he later pursues her desperately]

To change her fate, Xia Xiaoya returns to her past life. She takes over the scumbag her stepsister didn't want, turns the mother-in-law's family, who should have died without an heir, into a household full of descendants, gets her gambling-addicted brother to turn over a new leaf and bring honor to the family, and transforms her mother, who would otherwise spend the rest of her life begging, into someone everyone admires and praises.

Zhao Yingfeng has had everything go his way for twenty-seven years. All he wants is to pay for a mistress and enjoy a shameless life. Then the ugly Xia Xiaoya forces herself on him, scaring him so badly that he buys a train ticket that very night and flees to the Golden Triangle.

Two months later, his mother calls to say she's found him a wife. The moment he hears it's Xia Xiaoya, he sets off for Thailand with his driver.

Pregnant, Xia Xiaoya chases him through three countries before finally intercepting him in Malaysia.

When Zhao Yingfeng sees Xia Xiaoya again in a hotel room, he mistakes her for the “dictionary mistress” sent by a business partner. He goes mad for this woman with a face capable of bringing a kingdom to ruin, falling deeply under her spell.

But wait! Can someone tell him how she could be more than five months pregnant when they'd only been together for two?

Completely bewitched by her, he insists on taking her home to get married.

As soon as he steps through the door, before he can confess everything, Xia Xiaoya beats him to it and greets her parents-in-law.

Then she turns and winks at him playfully. “Honey, did you enjoy role-playing?”

Outwitted by her, Zhao Yingfeng's face burns with embarrassment and anger. No matter how furious he is, that night he obediently takes his pillow and goes to find his wife.

But to his surprise, no matter how hard he pushes, the door won't budge!
