Dust of the Tang Dynasty

From the deadly Black Pine Forest to the besieged city of the New Government, from taking office alone to earning the support of people from every quarter, he has always stayed true to his original purpose: to serve as an official and bring peace to the people in his care. He remains incorruptible amid political schemes, protects the people in troubled times, and stays true to enduring bonds of loyalty and affection amid the clash of blades. This is more than the tale of a lowborn minor official who rises against the odds. It is also a stirring anthem to a capable Tang official who secures the frontier and stabilizes the realm, and to Han Chinese and non-Han officials living side by side.
