Su Xiaoyan transmigrated, and thought she had landed the leading-lady role in a transmigration story, ready to shine in this new world!
Who could have guessed she hadn't transmigrated into another world, but into a book?
The good news was that she wasn't some random passerby. The bad news was that she was a doomed supporting character! A spoiled consort who made trouble everywhere and met a gruesome end, no less, and the tyrant's favorite consort at that! And the tyrant himself was doomed, too!
To stay alive, she decided to use the knowledge in her head to win over the emperor, escape the death that awaited her in the original story, and get away from the plot so she could live carefree.
In the original story, only the male lead's beloved, the tyrant's empress, ever left the palace alive. So Su Yanran set her sights on the empress, the perfect powerful backer. She was determined to cling to her!
But she never expected that... this plot... seemed a little strange...
