This story begins with Season Three.

If it proves popular, I'll write the earlier story later! At the dawn of creation, the three books of Heaven, Earth, and Man came into being. The Book of Heaven was like a supercomputer, collecting all the data on the human world. It recorded not only the past but also calculated every possible course of the future. The Book of Earth could alter all things in the human world, but it could not affect what the Book of Heaven had recorded. The Book of Man was the most mysterious: it was an opportunity, a chance to change the course laid out by the Book of Heaven to a certain extent. Fate was the consciousness born from the Book of Heaven. At first, Fate governed all things in heaven and earth. But as life after life was born and perished, Fate grew weary and disappointed. It believed that life in the world was imperfect, and sought to create perfect beings. So whenever the life born in an era fell short of perfection or displeased it, Fate would forcibly wipe out every living thing in that era, until life from the previous era appeared. The beings born from the spiritual energy of heaven and earth in that era had no tears or wars, and possessed extraordinary intelligence. To Fate, they were perfect humans. Yet these perfect humans possessed an intelligence that surpassed Fate's own. They created the Pangu clan, beings beyond Fate's control. This filled Fate with fear, so sudden natural disasters descended upon humanity. But the Pangu clan feared no calamity, and even Fate could do nothing to them. The previous generation's technology for creating gods, along with the souls of those who had died, entered the Eternal Kingdom. There, they would search the universe for a sanctuary beyond Fate's control. Their souls and god-making technology were objects of Fate's covetousness, and so it searched for clues to the Eternal Kingdom for millions of years.
