Synopsis

[No formulaic tropes, no invincible protagonist, no System, no mindless decisions. It may be a power fantasy. The plot moves forward step by step, with decisive action and no characters getting stupid.]

A beloved friend is sacrificed, and the path of cultivation begins!

After Jiang You obtains the Creation Stone, all he wants is to focus on cultivating, resurrect his dear friend, take him back to their old world, reunite with their families, and meet up with the woman he loves. A devoted couple, and nothing more...

But life is unpredictable. There are always people foolish enough to try to refine him to prove their Dao, forcing him to rebel and leaving him no choice but to suppress every enemy under heaven!

When all things fall silent, order comes to an end, the universe turns upside down, and chaos returns,

Jiang You stands alone before the immortal mountains and jade palaces, facing all the immortals in the cosmos. He says coldly, “Among the myriad arts, none is genuine. Since ancient times, I alone have been supreme... Since every one of you wants me dead, I'll refine you first! From this day on, let there be... no immortals in the world!”

Any Books Similar to A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality?

No showing off, no brainless decisions, and don't have the protagonist level up every time they lose a fight. The protagonist and supporting characters should be intelligent, and the plot should make sense.
