After the grand wedding, the ordinary girl Lan Yu perhaps never imagined that one small act of kindness would blossom into such a remarkable bond years later.

Years later, when friends invite him to go hiking, he hears the name of the person who once saved his life. He asks around, learns more about her, and moves in next door. To uncover the truth, he goes to dinner with his coworkers. Then, while on a business trip to Hangzhou, he spends several days with the girl and finds himself deeply drawn to her, his heart stirred... By chance, he sees a photo of Lan Yu from high school. It really is her: his lifesaver. He vows to love and protect her for the rest of his life.
