During the prehistoric years, the three realms of humans, spirits, and immortals were at peace. The ancient god Lu Nan met the female general Lingxi King of the spirit world when he was repairing the source of evil. The two fell in love, but God could not allow it. Lu Nan transformed into a mortal deer and traveled down to earth; King Lingxi ran away secretly.
