[Traditional Fantasy] + [Ensemble Cast] + [Behind-the-Scenes Style] + [No System] + [Female Protagonist] + [Slow-Burn] + [Multiple Cultivation Systems] + [Vast World]
(A note for readers: This story follows the female protagonist, Chen Meng, on her path of cultivation as she slowly embarks on the supreme Dao of Dreams! The plot is relatively calm while the protagonist is still developing, so the early chapters are a slow burn. If that's not for you, please don't read! Thank you, fellow Daoists, for giving this a try.)
“The Dao of Dreams is but a reflection of the real world. Never before has anyone relied on it as a path of cultivation. It is like flowers reflected in a mirror or the moon reflected in water, a mere illusion, no more than a minor path.”
“Yet in ancient times, no path of cultivation existed either. It was only because the sages of old braved every obstacle and forged the Great Dao that they became revered as Dao Ancestors. Since no one has established the Dao of Dreams, why shouldn't I, Chen Meng, forge a path of dreams and become its founding ancestor?”
“To forge a Great Dao is no easier than creating heaven and earth. After all, how many can claim the deer in the end? Who knows, perhaps one dreams all day of becoming a fish!”
“Not necessarily. Where the sea meets the sky, the horizon becomes its shore; at the mountain's summit, I am the peak. From this day on, I, Chen Meng, shall forge the Great Dao of Dreams. Within dreams, I reign supreme. I shall be called Dream Sovereign.”
Such a beautiful book, why does it have a heroine? There is no sense of substitution anymore.
