Two male leads. I wrote this a long time ago, but with so few people reading it, I lost the motivation to finish. Now I want to bring it to an end, so I'm posting it here.
Venerable Xiao Muzun is consumed by jealousy. He cultivates forbidden arts, harms his sect, and frames his disciples.
In the eyes of everyone, Chi Zimo is simply a man of crooked ways and poor character.
But Chi Zimo says, "Who cares what you think? Just leave my disciple out of it, and stay the hell away from me."
Disciple: Dedicated to smearing his master's name
Since his master treated him this way, he ought to repay him in kind.
And so...
He exposed Chi Zimo's true nature, making his name infamous.
Then he dragged him out of the last safe haven he had with his own hands, and repaid the "kindness" of years ago, one sword strike at a time.
He drove Chi Zimo into a corner, all the way to his death.
Chi Zimo, who thought he'd only just transmigrated but had actually been here long ago, says: Keep your secret identity hidden.
And so it became:
Yan Wuling: I will bring my master back, no matter the cost.
Chi Zimo: I'll quietly watch you make a scene. I'll just keep my secret identity hidden and stay out of it.
