The Southern Breeze Stops at the Islet

[Romance Heats Up / Campus + City / Secret Crush / Reunion After Years / Bad Ending]

[Gentle Yet Strong, Cool-Tempered Crybaby & Refined, Flirtatious "Fake" Playboy]

The south wind knows what I feel, and blows my dreams to Xizhou.

Everyone knew Rongcheng No. 1 High School had a top scorer from the high school entrance exam: proud and aloof, a heaven-blessed prodigy.

No one knew when the cracks first appeared in his perfect image.

People began seeing him smoke. His once-clear, bright eyes grew hazy and deep.

His reputation as a playboy gradually spread.

In truth, his seemingly sudden downfall had its reasons.

Rather than saying he had unexpectedly fallen from his pedestal, it was more that he had finally grown tired of pretending.

Time passed,

but the threads of fate quietly intertwined once more.

Lu Nanfeng never imagined she would run into him again that afternoon, amid the crowds.

When that familiar figure entered her sight,

the feelings she had buried deep in her heart for years burst forth and grew wildly in an instant.

Before she could react, he had her backed into a corner.

"Give me a chance, good girl?"

"Sorry, I don't like playboys."

"From now on, there'll only be you. I only want to be with you."

*

"He Xizhou."

"Do you prefer the mountains or the sea?"

"Or should you try liking me, just once?"

"Just once is enough."

In the season when irises bloomed in dazzling splendor,

He Xizhou gazed at the wooden box in his arms.

"Little wooden box, why won't you answer me?"

December 23 was his birthday.

It was her death anniversary.
