She Returned from Hell

Reborn + spiritual qi revival + ghost and monster stories

In her previous life, Xu Yin was married off by her father in exchange for a huge bride price, forced to compensate the victim on behalf of her brother, who had killed someone. She was sent to another family, where she endured constant abuse. Just when she was finally rescued from that living hell by her childhood sweetheart, she discovered that the boy who had once slain the dragon had become a dragon himself. He beat her every day. Unable to bear it any longer, Xu Yin fled, only to be kidnapped by human traffickers and sold into another den of misery. Reborn, Xu Yin is determined to reclaim everything that belongs to her this time... Wait, why does something feel off? How did she end up reborn as her own daughter, drinking the breast milk she used to feed her?!!

The pacing is slow at first. The female lead is introverted and somewhat gloomy, in poor mental health, hardworking, eager to learn, and highly adaptable.
