A silly fic I wrote without thinking things through, with a mistaken scolding.
Jian Xiyue was a big shot in the System world. She was just about to take her generous retirement pension and enjoy life in her retirement world when a System called Great Harmony suddenly crashed into her and bound itself to her. Looking at Jian Xiyue’s utterly grim face, Great Harmony admitted it had been terrified. Jian Xiyue was considered a big shot because she was so dedicated to her work. Faced with several red error messages that wouldn’t let her submit an application, she had no choice but to continue working, much to her displeasure. But who could have guessed that the female side character in this mission would turn out differently?
In the original plot, the female side character confesses to the male lead. Now she confesses to the heroine. The female side character used to frame the heroine, but now she saves her in a heroic act. Looking at the incomprehensible plot and the female side character curled up in her arms, Jian Xiyue declares, “To hell with the plot!”
The System looks at the plot that refuses to get back on track, then at its Host and the female side character, and blurts out, “I ship it!”
But why does this female side character look more and more like its Supreme God? It takes a closer look, and sure enough, it really is the Supreme God.
Not long afterward, a post appears on the System’s public board: “Guys, I need advice ASAP. My Host and my boss got together. What do I do?”
The Systems below all reply: “The guy up there must be someone who’s always been abusing his Host. Now you’re in for it!”
The System is practically in tears: “I’m the one who’s always been bullied! Both of these big shots are way out of my league. Who am I supposed to bully?”
But when it sees the light in its Host’s eyes, it declares, “To hell with the plot!”
