Strange Scenes Witnessed Over Thirty Years

Born in the 1960s, Uncle Zheng is clever and kind, yet always gets bullied. Unable to stand the people and things around him, he fights back, only to end up battered and bruised time and again. After his father, who works at the local police station, alters his age to make him two years younger, Uncle Zheng finally fits in with the generation born in the 1970s, and his life gets back on track. He is an only child and spent most of his childhood with his father. His mother is an ordinary farmer, so Uncle Zheng is a farmer through and through as well. After graduating from high school in 1990, he spent ten days as an apprentice at his eldest sister’s barbershop. He then took turns working with his father at the supply and marketing cooperative, becoming a worker with a secure iron rice bowl. Neither love nor career goes smoothly for him. Later, kindhearted and helpful Uncle Zheng secretly helps a streamer named Xing’er in her livestream, only to be discovered by his wife. What does tomorrow hold for Uncle Zheng?
