Note: The first thirty chapters have more buildup and more bootlicking. After the ties are severed around chapter 30, he starts giving the heroine a hard time.
[Transmigrate into a book + decisive and ruthless + System + no heroine + no formulaic tropes]
Xia Bian transmigrates into the role of a villain's bootlicker, but unexpectedly awakens the strongest Bootlicker System. As long as he fawns over the heroine, he can receive quest rewards.
Every time Xia Bian confesses to his goddess, Ye Ling'er, she rejects him. Bystanders all mock him for a toad dreaming of eating swan meat.
Xia Bian thinks, “Go ahead and laugh for now. You'll be crying later.”
“Become my cultivation partner, Ling'er.”
“Senior Brother Xia, you're a good person. To me, you're like an older brother. Let's just stay friends.”
[Congratulations, Host, you have been rejected by Ye Ling'er 100 times. Reward: 100,000 spirit stones.]
“Ling'er, I bought this top-grade magic treasure for you. Please take it.”
“Thank you, Senior Brother Xia. I was just in need of a magic treasure for protection.”
[Congratulations, Host, you have spent 50,000 spirit stones on Ye Ling'er. Reward: Swallowing Heaven Divine Art.]
[Host, Ye Ling'er's experience has been fully farmed. Please bind another female character.]
“Senior Brother Xia, why have you stopped paying attention to me lately? You haven't given me anything in ages, either.”
“Not at all. Oh, by the way, Ling'er, I was just looking for you. Aren't you familiar with Fairy Chu Youran? Could you introduce me to some of her interests and hobbies?”
“?”
