Western Fantasy: This Bishop Is Kind of Famous

Liberation theology + two female leads + light yuri + pseudo-ensemble cast + serious tone + slow burn (farming interspersed with battles. Trust me, stick with it and you’ll find it thrilling.)

Years later, when she takes up the post of bishop in a remote diocese, Olivina will remember the afternoon her grandfather took her to the Holy City Academy.

This is an age in which God has departed.

The mortal world is falling into ruin, one thing after another.

It’s all right. People will find their own way forward.

How do people find their own way forward?

With swords and blood, death and famine, oppression and resistance!
