Jiangshi: It All Starts with Renting Uncle Nine’s House

[Uncle Jiu + Supernatural + Cultivation + Lighthearted + A Touch of Comedy + A Tribute to the Classics] Lü Yang is a mysterious transmigrator. His grandfather and Ren Weiyong were once sworn brothers and master tomb raiders. When they were young, each found a mysterious ancient scripture in a Kunlun tomb. Ren Weiyong cultivated the Corpse Demon Scripture, while Lü Yang's grandfather obtained the Earthly Immortal Scripture.

Yet on a dark night no one knew about, his grandfather was mysteriously murdered by Ren Weiyong. A world-shaking secret seems to lie behind it all. Thanks to his special status as a transmigrator, Lü Yang inherits the Immortal Scripture his grandfather left behind. He devotes himself to cultivation from an early age and eventually achieves great success.

After leaving the mountains, he happens upon Renjia Town and becomes Uncle Jiu's neighbor. Here, Lü Yang stands up for what is right, exorcises demons, and helps all sorts of people. Along the way, all kinds of amusing incidents unfold, seemingly ordinary yet strangely unsettling.

Under the influence of the Corpse Demon Scripture, Ren Weiyong grows ever more evil, while Lü Yang's fate seems to be controlled by an invisible hand. What power does the mysterious Earthly Immortal Scripture conceal? Can Lü Yang uncover the truth behind his grandfather's murder, defeat Ren Weiyong, and protect the peace of Renjia Town? Everything is shrouded in uncertainty and suspense.
