The Gates of Hell Open, the King of the Underworld Arrives, and All Ghosts Wail!

Since the dawn of creation, the Nether King Luo You has ruled the Netherworld. For billions of years, she kept the evil thoughts born from within herself firmly suppressed. But one day, while she was inspecting the Eighteen Levels of Hell, those thoughts developed a will of their own and escaped the Netherworld for the mortal realm. They sought to harness the power of the Three Calamity Stars to turn the world into a living hell and establish a new order in the Netherworld. As the three ominous stars known as Sha, Po, and Lang descended upon the mortal realm, Luo You sealed away her memories and powers in the jade pendant she carried, then reincarnated as a human to avoid disrupting the laws of heaven and earth. After learning what had happened, her husband, Xuanji, reincarnated in the mortal realm ahead of her, intent on keeping an eye on his wife, the Nether King, who appeared fair and impartial but was actually rather willful.

Luo You, the Nether King: The mortal realm is so much fun! Dating, catching ghosts, living easy and carefree. I love being here...

Xuanji, the Nether King's husband: Whether we're in the mortal realm or the Netherworld, Your Highness, you can only be my wife. As for dating, you'd better forget about that!

The Nether King's evil thoughts: You sit high above everyone as the Nether King. Why do you get to suppress me? I'm the true Nether King...

Luo You kicked the Nether King's evil thoughts into the Hall of Reincarnation, dusted off her hands, and said, “Stay here and guard the gate!”
