Our leading man, Sun Jiawei, is divorced and has a son and a daughter, Sun Qi and Sun Yan. He and our leading lady, Zhang Li, form a new family. Zhang Li is also divorced and has a son named Zhang Yang. The two of them start a new life together and have a daughter, Xibao. As the two families come together and Xibao arrives, the children develop a love-hate relationship. One day, someone might shout, “Mom, Dad, Xibao’s bottle is missing!” Or, “Which one of you hid Xibao under the bed again?” Or, “Who put her diapers in my backpack?” Then there’s always someone getting into trouble at school and making their parents come in, or hacking Dad’s computer, or turning the house upside down and making Mom angry. There are countless things like that. The family of six lives amid this chaos, sometimes in a state of uproar, sometimes enjoying warm and happy moments, and carrying on happily together. Here’s a quick introduction to the children: Sun Yan is a well-behaved girl who’s quiet and excels at school. Sun Qi is a sunny, lovable boy who enjoys teasing his older siblings. Zhang Yang is just as outgoing as his name suggests, and loves to tease people. Xibao is just a baby, whose only job is to drink milk.
This book is only about the happy life of their family of six. Other people will rarely appear, so please don’t complain if that’s not to your taste.
I originally planned to write a short story, but it ended up with too many chapters, so I turned it into a web novel.
This was always meant to be a short story, so please don’t complain if it’s not to your taste.
