Orphan Zhou Yao accidentally encounters a space-time vortex and arrives on a magical continent. To survive, he has no choice but to pretend to be a local, and soon finds himself in one perilous situation after another.
But as he learns more about the continent, he gradually discovers that his identity is not so simple, and that the feng shui compass he has carried since childhood has a mysterious past of its own...
He enters competitions and enrolls in an academy, eventually uncovering the truth about his origins. He then begins studying both magic and alchemy, setting out on the path to godhood.
