Shang Le was originally a golden lotus by the Heavenly Dao's side. When the Heavenly Dao cast him down, his soul was split in two: one half went to the modern world, while the other stayed in the immortal realm. Both Shang Les are rather dim-witted, and even after they reunite, they seem just as silly as before. Though he may be a bit slow, he knows that a younger brother and his biological older brother being together is wrong. And even if they aren't related by blood, it's still not okay.
